Saloni Singh is the Global Vice President, Customer Success for Ematic Solutions. In the last year, Saloni has been responsible for expanding and refining the Customer Success offering at Ematic to ensure that our customers have everything they need to maximize ROI from Ematic’s Artificial Intelligence Platform.
She has introduced a Customer Success Strategy team that creates powerful email marketing strategies for our customers and creates a success plan to maximize revenue from the email marketing channel. She has also introduced a Customer Success Insights team that is responsible for providing data driven insights for our customers to drive incremental value month of month. The Customer Success Engineering team has expanded their offering from launch and product set up services to database strategies and ensure that our customers use BIG Data and Analytics to create personalized B2C digital experiences. Prior to Ematic Solutions, Saloni led Strategy and Operations for Customer Success for Linkedin’s largest business – LinkedIn Talent Solutions in APAC. She was also the first to introduce a Digital Strategy for Customer Success for LinkedIn Talent Solutions globally that allows customers to onboard and upskill themselves proactively and at their convenience. She won a Global Leverage Award for the innovation and also led the Customer Success Digital Marketing team as a result in addition to her responsibilities for the APAC business.
Before entering the world of Tech and B2B Marketing, Saloni had worked extensively in B2C Marketing and has worked with big brands like Lowe Lintas, Unilever and American Express. With her roots in Psychology, she is passionate about consumer behavior and her ability to spot consumer trends and insights has made her immensely successful in creating powerful marketing and communication strategies thereby ensuring market dominance and growth for the brands in her portfolio.
She is also an entrepreneur at heart and co-founded her own start up called Marketing Unplugged – a marketing innovation consulting firm. The firm did extremely well and was acquired by FCB Ulka in their 3rd year. Ematic is her 2nd start up.
Saloni’s biggest passion and skill is creating powerful digital strategies and introducing Artificial Intelligence into the mix to drive incremental revenue and growth while ensuring excellent customer experience.
Maarten Hemmes is the founder and CEO of CarPal, headquartered in Singapore. An innovator and entrepreneur at heart, Maarten launched his first startup in legal technology at the tender age of 22 in the Netherlands. Maarten also has over 10 years of software development experience through his own IT company serving clients located in Europe, United States and South East Asia. Inspired by the uberization of services and recognising the rising demand in last-mile logistics in South East Asia, Maarten launched CarPal in July 2014.
Originally from the Netherlands, Maarten has lived and worked in many cities across Europe, United States and Asia. He holds Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from University of Amsterdam, and speaks fluent Dutch, English, German with working knowledge of Spanish and French. He currently resides in Singapore with his wife.
Mr. Joseph Chan, Chief Executive Officer of AsiaPay, founded the company in August 2000. He spearheaded the company and product development together with his management team, to become one of the most successful electronic payment service and technology company in Asia, with operations covering 16 countries.
Through successive positions in banking and finance industries, Joseph has consolidated his expertise and experience in strategic planning, management and implementation of financial, electronic banking, Internet and mobile product services and systems in Asia.

Kaushik Burman (Country Business Manager, SG) heads the retail commercial fleet business for Singapore. The commercial fleet business offers B2B road transportation customers with a comprehensive “Total fleet management” solution, embed with technology enabled fleet card, telematics solution and driver training. Shell’s fleet management solution has helped customers focus on improving fleet efficiency thereby leading to higher performance, and overall lower total costs of ownership. Kaushik has earlier worked in strategy and marketing departments in Shell, his previous assignment was in the clean fuels portfolio based in The Hague, where the team developed LNG fuel for heavy duty trucking and marine applications. Kaushik is a mechanical engineer by training and MBA from INSEAD.
Peter is the Logistics Head of GO-JEK. In his capacity, he manages on-demand logistics products and spearheads business development for the e-commerce space. Prior to this role, he led Sales Strategy at Salesforce for the AMER SMB market segment and supported Product Strategy at State Street Global Advisors. Peter received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designations
Johan is currently an SVP at GO-JEK driving merchant strategy and acquisition across GO-JEK products. Prior to that He was a General Manager driving business development and investment efforts with Sapura Group; a multinational conglomerate based out of Kuala Lumpur with investments in Oil & Gas (SapuraKencana), Technology (Sapura Secured Technologies), and Property / Education (Sapura Resources), among others.

Prior to Carousell, Marcus spent a year at Oracle as a consultant. He’s also spent some time as a product manager at Wikinvest, and has held various marketing roles at DDB, Yahoo, and Coca Cola.
